Mina, la réalisatrice, et sa grand-mère Nurijan ne se sont jamais connues. Pourtant, ces deux femmes ont énormément en commun. Dans un monologue intérieur, Mina révèle graduellement l’histoire tragique de sa grand-mère, et plus largement la lutte quotidienne et acharnée des femmes activistes en Iran.
